1. Brief description of welding hooks
The welding hook mainly consists of two parts:
Hook body: usually made of metal materials (such as carbon steel, stainless steel), the shape is designed according to the purpose, common L-shaped, U-shaped, circular, etc.
Welding connection part: The hook body and the base material are fused by melting metal (such as welding rods and wires) to form a permanent connection to ensure the overall load-bearing capacity.
It is widely used in industrial production (such as workshop hanging tools), building decoration (such as ceiling hoists), daily life (such as balcony hangers) and other scenarios. The load-bearing weight ranges from a few kilograms to several tons, depending on the material specifications and welding process.
2. Process characteristics of welding hooks
1. Core advantages
Strong load-bearing capacity: The metal fusion joint formed by welding has high strength and can effectively transmit loads, making it suitable for heavy-load scenarios. For example, heavy-duty industrial hooks can carry dozens of tons of weight.
High structural flexibility: The corresponding welding method (such as arc welding, argon arc welding) can be selected according to the base material (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc.) and installation requirements. The hook shape and installation position can also be flexibly customized.
Wide scope of application: It is not limited by the flatness of the base material surface or the position of the connection holes. As long as the base material has sufficient strength, it can be welded and fixed at any position, adapting to complex installation environments.
2. Main limitations
Damage to the base material: The high temperature during the welding process will change the local metal structure of the base material, which may cause the base material to deform and reduce its hardness, especially for thin-walled or precision components.
Rely on professional operation: The welding quality directly determines the safety of the hook, which requires professional welders and equipment. If the operation is improper (such as welding welding, incomplete welding), risks such as cracking and falling off of the joint may easily occur.
Later maintenance is difficult: the welded connection is a permanent structure. If the hook is damaged or needs to be replaced, the solder joints need to be destroyed first, which may further damage the base material, and the maintenance cost is high.
