Mainstream Materials

Core Process Flow
Food-grade PP granules (compliant with GB 4806.7 standard) are mixed with color masterbatch and antibacterial agent in a specific ratio. The mixture is then dried in a dryer (80-90℃, 2-3 hours) to remove moisture and prevent air bubbles during injection molding.
Using a large-size injection mold (corresponding to the width and depth of a large refrigerator shelf, mold tolerance ±0.1mm), molten PP material (temperature 180-220℃) is injected into the mold and held under pressure at 20-35MPa for 10-15 seconds for cooling. After demolding, a shelf blank is obtained (uneven cooling of the large-size shelf must be prevented to avoid deformation).
Deburring of the mold parting line is removed using an automated deburring machine, and the edges of the shelf are rounded. Some products have reinforcing ribs (spaced 3-5cm) injected into the bottom to improve the load-bearing stability of the large-size shelf.
An antibacterial coating is sprayed onto the surface (must pass the JIS Z 2801 antibacterial test, antibacterial rate ≥99%), or antibacterial masterbatch is added directly during injection molding; labels such as "For food contact use" and "Low temperature resistant" are printed.
Inspect dimensional accuracy (tolerance ≤ ±1mm to the inner liner of a large refrigerator's cold storage compartment), load-bearing capacity (no bending after 24 hours of suspension at full load of rated weight), and low-temperature resistance (no cracking after 72 hours of refrigeration at 0℃).
Tempered Glass + Plastic Frame Refrigerated Rack
1. Glass Cutting and Edge Grinding: Select 4-5mm thick tempered glass sheets, laser-cut to design dimensions (e.g., 600mm × 400mm), then finely grind all four edges of the glass using a double-sided edge grinding machine (bevel radius 2-3mm) to avoid scratches from sharp edges.
2. Tempering Treatment: Place the ground glass in a tempering furnace, heat at 650-700℃, and then rapidly air-cool (cooling rate 50-60℃/s) to form surface compressive stress (≥90MPa), ensuring the glass's impact resistance and temperature difference resistance (able to withstand sudden changes from -20℃ to 70℃). 3. Frame Injection Molding and Assembly: The plastic frame is molded using a two-color injection molding process (inner layer of soft rubber for anti-slip, outer layer of hard rubber for load-bearing). The frame has pre-drilled slots for the glass; tempered glass is embedded into these slots and secured using ultrasonic welding or clips, ensuring the glass remains firmly attached to the frame (the glass does not detach during a pull test).
3. Accessory Installation: Anti-slip pads (made of silicone to increase friction with food) and adjustable clips are installed at the bottom of the frame (to accommodate slots of different heights in large refrigerator liner).
4.Quality Inspection: Testing includes the glass's impact resistance (it will not break when dropped from a height of 1m with a 104g steel ball), the strength of the connection between the frame and the glass, overall dimensional compatibility, and anti-slip performance.
