The craftsmanship of home metal shelving is designed around "lightweight and practical," "easy assembly," and "aesthetically pleasing." Unlike the heavy-duty processes used for industrial/architectural metal shelving, this product focuses on the needs of home environments and is divided into three main stages:
Basic Forming: Adapts to the home's design, balancing precision and flexibility.
Precision Cutting: Using mechanical cutting or small laser cutting, metal tubes/strips are cut to the designed dimensions, with an error tolerance of ±2mm. This ensures precise alignment of shelves, uprights, and other components, preventing assembly misalignment (for example, matching the shelves and brackets of a tabletop shelf).
Cold Bending: The metal tubes are cold-bent (without heating to prevent brittleness) to create shapes such as U-shaped hanging rails and curved frames, tailored to meet the needs of detailed home designs, such as kitchen hanging rails and the brackets of round side tables. Connection and Assembly: Strives for both stability and convenience, suitable for home installation.
Screw Connection: A mainstream method uses standard hardware screws to connect the vertical poles and shelves. Some systems utilize a tool-free snap-on + screw combination, allowing for manual assembly without specialized tools (such as IKEA-style metal shelves). These units are also removable for easy relocation or repositioning.
Spot Welding Reinforcement: For models with slightly higher load-bearing capacity (such as multi-layer pot racks), spot welding is performed at key joints (where the shelves connect to the vertical poles) in addition to the screw connection to enhance stability. The welds are concealed to minimize aesthetic impact.
Surface Treatment: Focuses on rust prevention and aesthetics, suitable for home environments.
Rust-Proofing: A phosphate treatment (forming a protective film on the metal surface) is applied, followed by an anti-rust coating to prevent rust in humid environments like kitchens and bathrooms, extending service life. Appearance beautification: Different treatments are made according to style requirements - matte spray-coating (rich colors such as black, white, and Morandi color, suitable for simple/light luxury style), chrome plating/nickel plating (bright texture, suitable for modern style), brushed treatment (fine metal texture, enhancing the sense of luxury, commonly seen in stainless steel frames), and mostly use environmentally friendly paint to avoid household odors.
